Laurelle is the Founding Director and Principal of Australian Retirement Partners. She is well known for her passion and enthusiasm for the retirement village industry, having over 20 years experience in property sales, leasing, investment and facilities management.
During the last decade Laurelle has worked as a senior executive in ‘hands-on’ management roles, managing a portfolio of retirement village assets for both the Gandel Group and Sakkara Living – specifically responsible for retirement village establishment, management systems implementation and commissioning, asset/facilities management (including capital expenditure/refurbishment and capital maintenance), financial management and human resources.
Laurelle possesses a holistic approach to village management, recognising the individual inputs requiring best practice outcomes in order to achieve appropriate financial returns, decrease risk for the owner/capital provider and enhance resident wellbeing and satisfaction at village level.
As part of her ongoing commitment to the industry, Laurelle is a current committee member of the Property Council of Australia - NSW Retirement Living Committee.
Warwick brings to ARP his significant and highly recognised background and experience in Sydney residential real estate, property management and property development.
After 24 years with a major real estate franchise group Warwick rebranded in 2001 and became an independent agency trading as Warwick Williams Real Estate, a multi award winning agency with 28 staff, the market leader in local sales and over 1300 properties under management.
Warwick’s drive, focus and industry leadership have been widely recognised by his peers. He received the Australasian Real Estate Agency Best Practice Award in 2008, Agent of the Year in 2008 and his agency achieved Property Management Performance Awards in 2015 and 2016.
Together with his demonstrated experience and business acumen Warwick brings to ARP his strong sense of community conscience. Warwick understands the value achieved from fostering a sense of local community, a principle that resonates closely with achieving success in the retirement village industry.
Warwick is the owner and Principal of Warwick Williams Real Estate in Drummoyne, Director and Shareholder of Morton Real Estate and is a Registered Valuer. He was awarded the 1997 Paul Harris Fellowship Medal for Services to the Community by Rotary, was a founding member of the Real Estate Institute Political Action Committee and is currently a Board Member for Briars Foundation, Clickview, Skillshare and Five Dock Leisure Centre.
Melanie brings to her position as Operations Manager wisdom that has come from an extensive career covering numerous different facets of the retirement industry. Her focus on the retirement industry was a deliberate decision and reflects Melanie’s commitment to understanding and contributing to this vibrant and growing community sector.
Throughout her career Melanie has worked across sales, management and business administration in existing retirement developments and has been a key contributor to the successful establishment of new retirement developments. She has a strong working knowledge of the need for careful maintenance and asset management within the retirement village sector with a view to delivering long term value for owners.
Melanie understands the complex balancing act required to successfully manage operational budgets. She has juggled demands for capital expenditure, costs of ongoing maintenance and managing value through effective asset protection policies.
Melanie has also managed resident and client communications and relationships required to support the seamless implementation of budgets and operational plans. She is highly customer focussed.
Not content to rely only on her extensive industry experience, Melanie added to her portfolio of skills by becoming a licensed Strata Manager and completing a traineeship and Certificate IV in Property Services (Operations).
Melanie’s commitment to continuous education and improvement were recognised within the industry when she was awarded the prestigious
‘Student of the Year’ Whitbread Strata Community Award in 2014.
As a Certified Practising Accountant with over 20 years experience Esther has extensive knowledge of accounting practice as well as a detailed understanding of the everyday practicalities of managing business finance.
Esther honed her skills working for over a decade within the multi-national corporate sector before moving into the retirement living sector where she has spent the last several years applying her skills to the technically complex, but rewarding, financial management of retirement villages with ARP.
Together with her formal accounting skills Esther is both meticulous and detail focussed. She has the ability to see the big picture development of budgets and preparation of cash flow projections whilst also managing the daily demands of petty cash and account payments.
Esther’s unwaivering commitment to process means she implements best practice financial reporting and consistent monitoring to deliver clients oversight, accountability and financial peace of mind.
Her management of finances is equalled only by her enviable time-management skills which make Esther an invaluable ARP resource, able to successfully handle multiple projects, meet competing deadlines and always deliver key outcomes for all clients.
Having come to ARP after many years working in the corporate and consulting sectors in senior market roles, Jon looks after the internal operations of ARP. Jon’s career has focused on operations, sales and marketing and now he brings these skill sets to the retirement sector within ARP.
In his last role with a leading international corporation Jon honed his skills in organisational management and operations, problem solving and critical analysis and business modelling.
A strong strategic mind-set, coupled with an ability to lead senior and middle management teams have been the keys to Jon’s commercial success in business, across a range of industries. Throughout his career, Jon has demonstrated his capability to effect change, turnaround, re-engineer and grow businesses both organically and via acquisition.
